Exam Preparation

Banking Exam Preparation

Structured preparation for the aptitude, reasoning, English and awareness sections common across banking recruitment assessments.

What is Banking?

Banking recruitment in India — for public-sector banks (via IBPS), the State Bank of India, and RBI — is conducted through structured, multi-stage online exams. While each recruiter runs its own exam, the core sections tested are broadly consistent: Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, English Language, and General/Banking/Financial Awareness, usually followed by an interview for the final stage.

ReadyUp is building structured preparation for these common sections. Exam-specific mock tests will be added as that scope is finalized — check back for updates on which banking exams are directly supported.

Sections

Quantitative Aptitude

Number series, simplification, data interpretation, arithmetic and quadratic equations.

Reasoning Ability

Puzzles, seating arrangements, syllogisms, coding-decoding and inequalities.

English Language

Reading comprehension, cloze test, error spotting and sentence correction.

General & Banking Awareness

Current affairs, banking terminology, financial system basics and government schemes.

Preparation Strategy

Banking exams reward speed under a strict per-question time budget more than raw difficulty — daily timed practice across all four areas, with particular attention to Reasoning puzzles and Quant calculation speed, is the most reliable path to a strong score. Banking Awareness should be built through consistent daily reading rather than last-minute cramming.

Frequently Asked Questions

ReadyUp's banking preparation currently focuses on the core sections common across banking recruitment assessments — Quant, Reasoning, English and Banking Awareness. Exam-specific coverage (e.g. for individual IBPS or SBI exams) will be announced as it's added — we don't claim support for a specific exam until it's actually available.

Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, English Language and General/Banking Awareness form the backbone of nearly every Indian banking recruitment exam, typically followed by an interview stage.
