What is XAT?

XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test) is a national-level MBA entrance exam conducted for admission to XLRI Jamshedpur and a large network of other accepting B-schools. XAT is distinctive among Indian MBA exams for its dedicated Decision Making section, which tests judgement on business-style caselets rather than pure logical reasoning.

Exam Pattern

XAT is typically a computer-based test with a Verbal & Logical Ability section, a Decision Making section, a Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation section, and often a separate General Knowledge section.   • Skipping GK preparation entirely and losing easy marks
